Houston Indian Community Events
Houston Indian community is a vibrant one and organizes tax seminars, Indian festival celebrations and cultural programs from time to time.
Houston Hindu Temple, Meenakshi Temple, Durga Temple, Woodlands Hindu Temple and other Hindu temples in Houston celebrate all major Hindu festivals like Ugadi, Sankrani, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dasara Navratri, Govardhan Annakoot, urga Puja, Onam, Diwali and more.
Besides the Hindu temples, Indian community associations like Gujarati Samaj, Maratha Mandal also organize Ras Garba, Kite festival, music concerts and dance programs from time to time.
And Indians in Houston can take advantage of free weekly citizesnship classes, naturalization interview & exam tips, yoga and health fitness, computer and job training classes organized by Houston Public Library system.
